The final report submitted by the candidate will be reviewed by a competent authority set by the HRD Ministry and candidate will be liable for the award after the approval of the Nodal Officer.

About The Program
Swachh Bharat Summer Internship Course 2018 is a combined initiative of Ministry of Human Resource & Development and Ministry of Drinking & Sanitation. It aims to promote a sense of responsibility among the youth of India towards their society and issues related to cleanliness.

The following candidates will be considered eligible for this program:
- Students studying in colleges/universities may apply through enrolment forms. The college or university will be considered as the parent institution.
- Students can choose between the State of Residence and State of Parent Institution as the location for the internship.
Benefits
- All participants will be provided with a Swachh Bharat Internship Certificate on completion of their internship and its approval by the parent institution.
- The interns whose internship reports are found eligible will be provided with 2 curriculum credits.
The best three teams/interns will be recognised at college, university, state and national levels. And, their awards will be as under:
- For college level: Shields/Cups and special certificates
- Cash awards in addition to certificates
- For University Level: INR 30,000, INR 20,000 and INR 10,000 for the first, second and third position, respectively, along with certificates.
- For State Level: INR 50,000, INR 30,000 and INR 20,000 for the first, second and third position, respectively, along with certificates.
- For National Level: INR 2 Lac, INR 1 Lac and INR 50,000 for the first, second and third position, respectively, along with certificates.
How can you apply?
Step 1: To enroll for the internship, the applicant has to click here register.
Step 2: Register with either email or mobile to create a new account.
Step 3: Then, log in with the registered user id and password.
Step 4: Fill the form with all the required details and upload the necessary documents.
Step 5: Then, submit the form.
Step 6: Candidates will be accepted as valid only if they are approved by the Nodal Officer at the Parent Institution.

Terms and Conditions
- Applicants can either participate individually or in teams (max. limit of members 10).
- Applicant's candidature will be accepted only when it is duly signed by the Nodal Officer at Parent Institution.
- Logistics for the internship would be facilitated between the interns and parent institution.
- Safety of interns during field works will be the responsibility of the parent institution.
- Final submission of the report may be considered valid only when it is submitted within 15 days of completion of the project.
- The duration of internship programme is at least 100 hours which must be concluded between 1st May to 31st July 2018.
