About The Program
SVNIT Surat Department of Electrical Engineering (DEE) Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat to M.E./M.Tech. and B.E./B.Tech degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a SERB funded project entitled - “Wide Band Gap Device Based NextGeneration Intelligent Electric Traction Drive System for Electric Vehicle Application". The selected fellow will receive a monthly emolument of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA for the first two years and INR 35,000 plus HRA as per the SERB-JRF rules.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Have first-class M.E. /M.Tech. degree in Power Electronics and Drives or Allied branches with B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Have qualified GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)

- Merely fulfiling the main eligibility criteria will not be suitable for election to be invited for the online interview.
- Initially, the duration of the fellowship will be one year, extendable based on the performance till the project continues (Total - 3 years).
- The original documents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining, and in the event of any information mentioned in the application/CV/testimonials found false or incorrect, their candidature straightaway will be cancelled.
