About The Program
SVNIT Surat Department of Civil Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to M.E./M.Tech/B.E./B.Tech degree holders. The required candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Local Scouring Around Tandem and Staggered Bridge Piers on Non-uniform Mobile Beds”. The selected fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold first-class ME/M.Tech. degree in Hydraulics, Water Resources Engineering or Allied branches with B.E./B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering
- Have qualified GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)

- The selected candidate will get the chance to enrol on Ph.D. programme.

- Merely fulfilling the main eligibility criteria will not be suitable for election to be invited for the online interview.
- The decision of SVNIT-Surat in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance, screening, mode of selection will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or any agency on behalf of the candidate.
- A list of eligible candidates shortlisted for an interview will be hosted on the Institute's official website with the date and time schedule of the interview.
- The original documents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining, and in the event of any information mentioned in the application/CV/testimonials found false or incorrect, their candidature straightway will be cancelled.
