About The Program
The Sun Pharma Science Foundation Research Fellowships 2025 is an initiative by the Sun Pharma Science Foundation for young Indian researchers under the age of 30 years. This scheme aims to empower India’s emerging scientists and researchers, fostering innovation and advancing research in the country. The selected applicants will receive a fellowship of ₹1,00,000 and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be an Indian scientist working in India
- have contributed to the field of Medical or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- be below the age of 30 years as on 01st May 2025
- have completed 1st year of MD or Ph.D. Biomedical or Pharmaceutical Science
- have successfully submitted a research project
Note:- Applicants who have already completed their MD or Ph.D. are not eligible for the award.
Benefits
The selected applicants will receive the following benefits:
- ₹1,00,000 will be awarded to each fellow
- Additional ₹1,00,000 will be given for attending international conferences and presenting their work.

How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Science Scholar' fellowship.
Step 4:Click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: An applicant form will open, fill in the required details and click on the 'Next' button.
Step 6: Fill in the 'Nominator's Info' tab and click the 'Next' button.
Step 7: Now, preview the details and click on the 'Submit' button.
Note:- After completion of the online application, a print copy of the nomination must be submitted to the foundation’s office by 15th July 2025.

- Science Scholars have no claims or affiliations with Sun Pharma Science Foundation or Sun Pharma group of companies.
- Scholars must voluntarily declare their commitment to working in publicly or privately funded academic/research institutions for at least two years post-study.
- Scholars are expected to update the Foundation on their achievements periodically.
