About The Program

Summer Faculty Research Fellow Programme 2017 invites application for the faculty fellows from various Engineering and Science institutes and colleges in India other than IIT Delhi to come and spend summer from May to July 2017 for doing research under the guidance of a faculty mentor of IIT Delhi. The aim of the fellowship is to facilitate and orient the faculty fellows to undertake research and providing an opportunity to interact and work with the faculty mentor and his/her research applicants and get exposure to the equipment and lab facilities associated with the faculty mentor.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

The faculty fellow should be a regular faculty and the preference will be given to those who are considering higher studies (Masters/PhD) in the near future.

How can you apply?

The application can be done by post or by email with the following steps:
Step 1: Download the application form.
Step 2: Attach all the documents.
Step 3: One passport size photo must be pasted on the application form.
Step 4: Now email it or send it to the given address:

  • Statement of interest for working in the area
  • Resume
  • No Objection Certificate from the parent institution stating the starting and ending dates for carrying out full-time research work at IIT Delhi under the summer programme. The expected period of stay is 6‐8 weeks
  • One passport size photograph

Important dates:

  • Result notification: 28th April 2017
  • Programme Commencement: 15th May 2017
