About The Program

The Department of Higher Education, Haryana invites applications from grandchildren of freedom fighters who are pursuing higher education in government or non-government aided colleges of Haryana. The scholarship aims to honour the freedom fighters by providing their grandchildren financial support for pursuing higher education. Recipients of the scholarship can get up to INR 1000 per month and other benefits.

  • Be grandchildren of freedom fighters
  • Be pursuing higher education in government or non-government aided colleges of Haryana
Benefits

The recipients of the scholarship will receive the following benefits-

  • A stipend of INR 1000 per month for 12 months
  • A grant of INR 2000 per annum for books
