About The Program
STIBET Scholarships for International Students are being offered by the University of Oldenburg to applicants expected to graduate during the winter semester 2019. It awards scholarships to international students for the finishing phase of their degree programme, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The selected candidates will receive a scholarship worth EUR 400 per month for 3-4 months.

To be eligible, an applicant:
- Is expected to graduate during the winter semester 2019
- Must have a residence permit for the purpose of study
- Must have a monthly income not exceeding EUR 450 during scholarship payment
- Must display good academic performance
- Must have financial need
Note- All international students who are likely to finish their degree programme at the University of Oldenburg in the summer semester (Sommersemester) 2019 are eligible to apply.
Benefits
The scholarships are worth up to EUR 400 per month for a duration of 3 to 4 months.

- Resume/CV
- Transcript with grade average
- Enrolment certificate
- Copy of the residence permit
- A copy of the registration of the thesis with the Examinations Office (if available yet)
- Proof of voluntary work (if available)
- Proof of family's overall income (for married candidates)
- Letter of recommendation from the thesis supervisor
