About The Program
State Merit Scholarship (SMS), Kerala 2021-22 is an initiative for first-year graduate and post-graduate students. The scholarship aims to support the education of needy students. The selected 300 graduate students will receive INR 1,250 per annum whereas 150 post-graduate students will receive INR 1,500 per annum under this scholarship scheme.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be a first-year student of Undergraduate or Postgraduate course in Govt/Aided colleges or University Departments
- Be a native of Kerala
- Have scored 50% or above in the qualifying examination.
- Have an annual family income not exceeding INR 1 lakh
Benefits
The selected students will receive the following benefits:
- INR 1,250 per annum to 300 Graduate students
- INR 1,500 per annum to 150 Postgraduate students

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -

Step 4: A registration id will be generated automatically.
