About The Program
State Government Open Merit Scholarship, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Maharashtra to financially help Class 12 passed students of Maharashtra. The selected candidates will receive ₹100 per month.

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must:
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- have passed Class 12
- have secured a minimum of 60% marks
- be pursuing graduation in Arts/Commerce/Science, or Law
Note:- Maharashtrian students studying outside of Maharashtra are not eligible to apply for this scheme.

The selected students will receive up to ₹100 per month.

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, and verify the email and phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to the 'Register' button.
Step 7: Now, click the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents, and submit.
