To be eligible, an applicant must:
- have passed Class 5 and 8 from government/government-aided/recognised school under the Department of Education (Schools) of the state
- have fulfilled the below academic criteria in aggregate in their annual promotion examination in the previous year:
- General: Less than 60% marks
- OBC: Less than 55% marks
- SC/ST: Less than 50% marks
Benefits
Selected students will receive a scholarship as per the rules and terms & conditions approved by the Examination Committee from time to time. The duration of the scholarship will be consecutive three years for Class 5 and two years for Class 8.

- Caste certificate
- Bank account details of the student (First page of bank account containing account number and IFSC)
- Certificates, diploma, degree, etc. of previously passed examination
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to 'Applicant Corner' and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox and click on the 'Continue' button.
Step 5: Select the respective Aadhaar option, enter mobile number, captcha code, OTP, and then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the 'Fresh Application' tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.
Note: All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will cancel the form.

The selection of students will be done per the guidelines and terms & conditions of the scholarship approved by the Examination Committee.
The student must follow the following examination pattern to prepare for the competitive examination in order to be eligible for the scholarship:

Terms and Conditions
- The examination will follow the prescribed syllabus by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur for both Class 5 and 8.
- The examination will be conducted in English.
