About The Program

Department of Post, Ministry of Communication, Government of India invites applications for the Stamp Design Competition- Republic Day 2017 on the Theme "Nature: India".
Any Indian can make a design by using ink, water colour, oil colour or any other medium. The design should be such that it can be depicted on the stamps in a visual manner. Interested candidate can use drawing paper, art paper or A4 size paper but not the printed one.

Winning stamp will be considered for the design of the stamp and other Philatelic materials. On the back side, participants must write the name, age, gender, nationality, address, contact number, email id (if available). The prize will be divided into three winners, first prize: Rs 10,000; second prize: Rs 6,000; third prize: Rs 4,000.

  • Open to all, any Indian can apply.
  • The art should be the original one and must copy from anywhere.
  • The design must be sent through speed post in A4 size envelope only by 20th December 2016.
