About The Program

SSL Apprenticeship for Graduate/Diploma Holders 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by Sambhar Salts Limited (a govt. enterprise)* to graduate and diploma holders. A total of 13 seats are available to apply for this programme. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of INR 9,000 for this one-year apprenticeship programme.

*It is a company fully owned by the Government of India to take over the salt sources at Sambhar, Didwana, and Kharaghoda.

To be eligible, an applicant must -

For Graduates:

  • have a degree in Engineering or Technology (full-time) granted by a statutory university/an Act of Parliament in a relevant discipline
  • have appeared for a graduation examination of professional bodies (full-time) recognised by the state government or the central government

 

For Diploma Holders:

  • be a diploma holder in engineering or technology (full-time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education
  • be a diploma holder in engineering or technology (full-time) granted by a university in relevant disciplines
  • be a diploma holder in engineering or technology (full-time) granted by a government-recognised institution

 

Note -

  • The age limit will be followed according to the Apprenticeship rules.
  • Reservation for SC/ST/OBC will be made according to the guidelines of the Apprenticeship rules.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the apprenticeship by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id)
Step 3: Send all the required documents such as resume, qualification certificate, and community certificate through email at - hr.sambhar@indiansalt.com on or before 30th June 2023 by mentioning "Application for Graduate Apprenticeship in 2023" and "Application for Technician Apprenticeship in 2023" in the subject line

Note - Engineering Candidates are required to register on the NATS portal before sending their application.

Candidates who are not registered with the NATS portal can follow the listed below steps to register themselves: 
Step 1: Visit the official website of the NATS portal.
Step 2: Navigate to the 'Enroll' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click it.
Step 3: Select the 'Student' option and complete the registration process filling in all the necessary details. (Note - Students who have already enrolled in the NATS portal, can log in with valid credentials)

Note - 

  • A unique enrollment number is required to fill out the application for the apprenticeship program.
  • Candidates enrolling for the first time on the NATS portal are required to wait for their unique enrollment/registration number to be generated before applying.
  • It takes up to a day to verify the enrollment request and gets approved by the concerned regional boards. 
  • Once the applicants receive the unique enrollment number, they can proceed to apply.

Date of interview - 4th July 2023

 

Note -  In case of any changes in the dates, candidates will be informed accordingly.

Applications of the candidates will be first shortlisted and then they will be called for interviews.

  • Completion of Training does not entitle the candidates to any right to claim temporary or permanent nature jobs in Sambhar Salts Limited.
  • Basic computer software operations such as MS Office, Internet, Email or such software are essential for all positions.
  • The number of posts that are indicative may vary as per the requirement of the Company.
  • Appointments on positions mentioned above are liable to be transferred or posted in any work locations of Hindustan Salts Limited/Sambhar Salts Limited as per operational requirements.
  • Any wrong information provided by the candidates will lead to the disqualification of the candidates from the selection process.
