Southern Cross University invites applications for Southern Cross University PhD Scholarship in Sport and Exercise Psychology 2020 from PhD applicants. The scholarship aims to provide an opportunity to complete a PhD and conduct sport and exercise psychology research in both Australia and the UK. Selected scholars will get a PhD scholarship of up to AUD 28,092 per year for 3 years duration.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Meet the entry requirements to enrol in a PhD at Southern Cross University and University of Lincoln on a full-time basis
- Hold an Australian or New Zealand Bachelors degree with first or upper second class honours, or an international Masters degree where at least half of the assessment was based upon a thesis or dissertation
Benefits - Scholarship for first 18 months at the Australian Research Training Program rate – AUD 28,092 per year
- Scholarship for the next 18 months at the UK/University of Lincoln standard rate – GBP 15,009 per year
Documents - CV (2 pages max)
- A cover letter (1 page)
- Degree transcripts/certificates
- Any other relevant research documents (e.g., publications/theses)

Selection will be based on documents and Skype/Zoom interview.
Terms and Conditions
- The successful candidate will need to fund their own travel to Australia to commence studies; application fees associated with any required visa and overseas health cover insurance expenses.
- The successful applicant will be based in Coffs Harbour, Australia for the first 18 months of the scholarship, and then in Lincoln, UK, for the remaining 18 months.
- There may be an expectation to contribute to teaching in relevant topics as part of this scholarship, in line with each University’s normal procedure within PhD scholarships.
