About The Program

Southern Cross University invites applications for Southern Cross University PhD Scholarship in Coffee Chemistry 2020 from PhD applicants. The scholarship aims to develop and optimise an efficient analysis method to detect key chemicals responsible for the variation of coffee flavour. Selected scholars will get a PhD scholarship of AUD 28,092 per year for 3 years duration.

  • Meet the entry requirements to enrol in a full-time Doctor of Philosophy (Plant Science) at Southern Cross University

The selected scholars will receive a PhD scholarship of AUD 28,092 per year (at Australian Research Training Program rate) for 3 years duration.

  • The successful candidate will need to fund their own travel to Australia to commence studies; application fees associated with any required visa and overseas health cover insurance expenses.
  • This project will be based at SCU’s campus in Lismore, NSW, Australia, and will involve the student working in the context of an industry-funded collaboration.
