South Asian University Masters and PhD Scholarship 2018 invites applications from master and PhD applicants.The university offers various scholarships such as President's scholarship (for MA/MSc and LLM students), SAU merit scholarships, SAU freeships and SAU tuition fee waiver and financial support for PhD students. The scholarship is offered in the following programmes-Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Biotechnology, International Relations, Economics, Legal Studies and Sociology.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility For PhD:
- Applicant must hold a master's degree.
- Applicant should have completed 17 years of study in total (12 years of school, 3 years of bachelors and 2 years of masters).
- Applicant pursing last semester of master's degree can also apply.
- Applicant must score at least 50% marks in the entrance exam and the interview.
For master's degree:
- Applicant must hold a bachelors degree
- Applicant should have obtained at least 15 years of study in total (12 years of school and 3/4 years of a bachelors degree)
- Applicant pursing last semester/year of bachelor's degree can also apply.
- Applicant must be applying to an MA, MSc or LLM course at the University.
Benefits President's scholarship (for MA/MSc and LLM students):
- Two selected students will receive tuition fee waiver, hostel fee waiver (if applicable) and a living allowance of INR 7,000 per month.
- Indian students will also receive one-time start-up allowance of INR 5,000 at the beginning of their tenure to cover part of their book purchases and inbound travel cost.
SAU merit scholarships:
- 2 students will receive tuition fee waiver, hostel fee waiver (if applicable) and a living allowance of INR 5,000 per month.
SAU freeships:
- Tuition fee waiver, hostel fee waiver (if applicable) and a living allowance of INR 3,000 per month.
SAU tuition fee waiver and financial support for PhD students:
- Tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend of INR 25,000.
