About The Program
SOF National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) 2018-19 invites applications from students from class 1 to 12. The main objective of this Olympiad is to provide a unique competitive platform to students where they can showcase their knowledge and prove themselves.

Students of class 1 to 12 are eligible to apply for the Olympiad.
Benefits
International level awards
- 12 first rank holders will receive INR 50,000 each, gold medal and certificate of outstanding performance.
- 12 second rank holders will receive INR 25,000 each, silver medal and certificate of outstanding performance.
- 12 third rank holders will receive INR 10,000 each, bronze medal and certificate of outstanding performance.
Zonal level awards
- 240 first rank holders will receive INR 5,000 each, gold medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
- 240 second rank holders will receive INR 2,500 each, silver medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
- 240 third rank holders win get INR 1,000 each, bronze medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
- Total of 1680 awards comprising gifts worth INR 1,000 each, medal of distinction, certificate of distinction and certificate of zonal excellence will be given to students who will rank from 4th to 10th.
- Over 3600 awards comprising a certificate of distinction, medal of distinction and certificate of zonal excellence will be given to students who will rank from 11th to 25th.
- All the participants ranking above 25 will receive merit certificates.

How can you apply?
All eligible students can apply for the Olympiad through their respective schools only. SOF will send the prospectus along with the registration forms to all the registered schools. They need to return the duly filled registration forms to SOF before the due date.
Note: In case the school is not registered, it may send a request for prospectus by sending an email at info@sofworld.org.
Important Dates
Date of the NCO Olympiad: 20 December 2018 or 31 January 2019
Note: The schools can pick any of the above dates as per their convenience. However, the SOF should receive the applications from schools at least 30 days before the Olympiad.
Selection Criteria
Terms and Conditions
- The schools may collect up to INR 25 from the students in addition to registration fee as administration charges.
- A minimum of 5 students should be registered from each school.
- The National Cyber Olympiad is a single level exam.
- The duration of the test will be 60 minutes comprising of 35 objective-type questions for class 1 to 4 & 50 objective-type questions for class 5 to 12.
- Individual registrations by students are not accepted.
- The Olympiad will be based on CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabus.

Q: Who all are eligible to sit for this test?
A: Students of classes 1st to 12th are eligible to appear for the SOF NCO. There is no other eligibility criterion like minimum marks.
Q: Myself and few of my friends are interested to take part in the Olympiads but our school has not yet received any information regarding the Olympiad. What can we do?
A: Please let us know the name, e-mail ID, complete address of your school along with name and contact details of the Principal. We will send detailed information and registration forms to your School so that your Principal / Olympiad Teacher-in-charge can register your names for the exam.
Q: What is the syllabus for the Olympiads?
