SML Unnati Scholarship 2026-27

• Open to girl students pursuing undergraduate degree, diploma, or polytechnic programs (any year) in STEM disciplines and core engineering fields, at recognised institutions across India.
• The applicant must be the daughter of a Heavy or Light Commercial Vehicle Driver, including bus drivers, truck drivers, pickup truck drivers, and last-mile delivery vehicle drivers.
• Applicants must have passed the previous semester/academic year.
• Applicants must have secured at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA/grade) in the previous academic year. 
• Annual family income from all sources must not exceed INR 6,00,000.
• Applications are invited from across India.
• Children of employees of SML Mahindra and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Note: 

Preference will be given to:

• Applicants from Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
• Students from single-parent households or orphaned students
• Transgender students
• Students belonging to aspirational districts

In case students haven't received the results of their last even semester, then they can be selected based on the results of the last odd semester as well.

Selected students will receive a scholarship of INR 30,000 for UG, Diploma, or Polytechnic Students under SML Unnati Scholarship.

• Previous academic year marksheet
• Graduation certificate and marksheet for postgraduate students
• Fee receipts and fee structure from the institution
• Driving license for Heavy/Light Commercial Vehicle Drivers
• NSQF certificate/vocational course completion certificate (if applicable)
• Parental income certificate/ITR issued by a competent authority
• Bank account details (copy of passbook or cancelled cheque in applicant's name or
• joint account with parent)
• Supporting documents for special category applicants, if applicable (e.g., disability certificate, death certificate, transgender certificate, or orphan certificate), to ensure equitable consideration

• Fill in the required details in the online application form.
• Upload the relevant documents.
• Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click ‘Preview’.
