About The Program

Seoul Tech Scholarship 2025 is an opportunity provided by the Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) of the Republic of Korea. This scholarship aims to develop future industry leaders by providing financial support to outstanding students pursuing master’s degree programs in Korea. Selected candidates will receive full tuition coverage and other benefits.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a citizen of India
  • be born after 1985
  • be a graduate or expect to graduate from a bachelor's program in science and engineering at one of the top 100 Indian universities according to the latest NIRF rankings
  • have scored a minimum of 80% or be in the top 20% of the class
  • have scored a minimum CGPA of 2.64 out of 4/2.80 out of 4.3/2.91 out of 4.5/3.23 out of 5 (according to the GKS criteria)
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:-

  • KRW 10,00,000 per month for living expenses (approximately ₹59,886)
  • Full tuition coverage (50% by SMG, 50% by the University)
  • One-time economy class flight ticket to Korea
  • Actual cost of health insurance premiums for the previous month
  • Assistance with employment or entrepreneurial activities in Korea after completion

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1:

Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Download the application form and fill in the required information.
Step 4: Apostille the necessary documents and attach them to the application form, then send it to the following address by post:

Selection Criteria

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Scholarship Foundation will conduct the selection of applicants for the following institutions:

  • Kyung Hee University
  • Korea University
  • Kwangwoon University
  • Seokyeong University
  • Seoul National University of Science and Technology
  • University of Seoul
  • Sungkyunkwan University
  • Sookmyung Women’s University (female candidates only)
  • Soongsil University

The Embassy of India in Seoul, and the Ministry of Education, Government of India has no role in the selection of candidates.
