Eligibility criteria for Junior Fellowship:
- The applicant must be an artist in the age group of 25 to 40 years as on 1 April 2018.
- The applicant must not have availed the benefits of Junior Fellowship in any of the fields earlier.
- The applicant must be a graduate in the relevant field.
Eligibility criteria for Senior Fellowship:
- The applicant must be an artist in the age group of above 40 years as on 1 April 2018.
- The applicant must not have availed the benefits of Senior Fellowship in any of the fields earlier.
- The applicant must be a graduate in the relevant field.
Benefits
- Each of the selected 200 Junior fellows will receive INR 10,000 per month for a maximum period of 2 years.
- Each of the selected 200 Senior fellows will receive INR 20,000 per month for a maximum period of 2 years.
How can you apply?

Step 2: Now click on 'Registration' tab.
Step 3: Fill in all the details in the registration form.
Step 4: A username and password would be generated for login.
Step 5: Now, click on 'Current Scheme Status' and choose the appropriate fellowship.
Step 6: Fill the application form and submit it.
Selection Criteria
All the applications will be reviewed by an expert committee constituted by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. As per this review, meritorious candidates will be shortlisted. These shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit the hard copy of their applications along with other required documents based on which the experts will select final 200 candidates for the Senior Fellowship. For Junior Fellowship, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview/personal talk by the expert committee based on which final 200 candidates will be selected.

- In case, a candidate supposed to submit a final and six-monthly Project Report in a language other than Hindi or English, he/she can submit a 500-words project synopsis in Hindi/English translation or send a print out of the application form along with the project synopsis in the chosen language to the address mentioned below:
