United Nations Development Programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, and Global Environment Facility, invites applications from Indian citizens for its logo & tagline, and illustration competitions. The project focuses on showcasing livelihoods, conservation, sustainable use and restoration of high range Himalayan ecosystems.
Theme: Protecting Wildlife, Preserving Landscapes and Empowering Communities in the High altitude Himalaya

DeadlineClosed Eligibility The scholarship is open for all citizens of India.
Benefits The top two designs in each category will be awarded as follows:
- First Prize: INR 50,000/-
- Second Prize: Trip to Hemis National Park, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir
How can you apply? To apply for the competition, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Access the google form for application.
Step 2: Fill in the required details and select the category the candidate wishes to participate in.
Step 3: Upload the design and its description/concept.
Step 4: Submit the entry.
Important Dates
- Deadline for submission - 31 October 2018
- Extended Deadline for submission - 10 November 2018
- Initial Screening of entries in close consultation with UNDP - 11-12 November 2018
- Jury Assessment - 13-19 November 2018
- Final Assessment - 20-25 November 2018
- Announcement of the Awardees - 26 November 2018
Terms and Conditions
- Only original entries will be considered.
- Entrants must complete separate forms for more than one entry.
- Winners will be required to supply hi-res print-ready files which will be used for printing/reproducing.
- Pictures/designs must not have been published anywhere else. Copyright clearance for use of the artwork (Logo & Tagline and Illustration) for the purpose of this event and its outcomes will be the responsibility of the entrant.
- UNDP will have the copyright on all the entries submitted. By submitting an entry, the participant(s) agree(s) to transfer the intellectual property rights to UNDP.
- Entries past the deadline will not be accepted.
- The organizers agree to take reasonable precaution in handling entries but cannot be responsible for non-receipt, damage or loss.
- Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries will be disqualified.
- The judges’ decision on all matters affecting this competition is final and legally binding.
- No correspondence regarding the results will be entered into.
- No relatives of UNDP and Organisers employees will be allowed to enter.
- Entrants can be asked to provide identity proof (if required) for the purposes of the competition.
- Winners will be required to carry out modifications/additions (if required) in the designs if chosen for production.
