About The Program
Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities, Nagaland 2023 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland to provide financial assistance to disabled students who are studying in Class 1-8. The selected candidates will receive financial assistance to pursue higher studies.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be domiciled in Nagaland
- be studying in Class 1-8 in an institution which has a valid AISHE/UDISE code
- have the benchmark disability of 40% and above
- have an annual family income of not exceeding INR 2,50,000 from all sources
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive financial assistance to pursue higher studies.
Documents
- Xerox copy of the progress report of the last class/year passed
- Disability certificate/Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID)
- Xerox copy of the front page of bank passbook
- Original income certificate Annexure – I/II issued in the year 2023 (Fresh applicants only)
Note:- All applicants whose parents/guardians are employed should furnish an income certificate only in Annexure I format (certified by employer) else the Application will be rejected.

Eligible candidates can apply for the opportunity by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 3: Navigate to the 'Register' button on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in the required details to complete the registration process. (Note: If the applicant is already registered, kindly log in using valid credentials)
Step 5: After successful registration, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents (if required) and submit.
Step 6: Take a printout of the application form and submit it along with the xerox copy of the documents to the Department of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland at the address:
