About The Program
Scholarship for M.Tech Students, Ladakh 2025-26 is an opportunity offered by the Government of UT Ladakh to students pursuing M.Tech degree from IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi & IIT Bombay. This scheme aims to financially aid the students belonging to Ladakh pursuing Master's in the Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Energy Engineering, Earth Sciences, and Electrical Engineering. The selected students will receive a scholarship of ₹25,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be domiciled in Ladakh
- have completed a UG degree in engineering
- have scored a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA in UG (5% relaxation will be provided to the SC, ST or PwD candidates)
- enrolled in a full-time M.Tech. program in or outside Ladakh

The students selected for the M.Tech. programs would be paid a scholarship of ₹25,000 per month.

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Click on the 'New User Registration' tab.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: Enter the username and password and click on the 'Sign In' button.
Step 6: Fill in the application form and upload the required documents.
Step 7: Click on the 'Submit' button.
Note:- Candidates are required to pay ₹100 as application fees.

- There are a total of 12 (4 each for the mentioned IITs) seats for M.Tech. programs.
- All selected M.Tech. students must execute a compulsory service bond to serve in the UT of Ladakh, for a prescribed period of 3 years immediately after the completion of the course.
- Applications would be made online on the portal.
- Queries (if any) may be sent directly to the nominated contact person given in the advertisement.
- All eligible applications will be reviewed based on the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
- Shortlisting of the candidates will be based on marks/grades scored, past projects/internship/extra-curricular/entrepreneurial activities.
- The final selection would be based on the respective department's procedures of all IITs.
