About The Program
Manipal University Jaipur invites applications from the wards of local villagers (Dehmi Kalan, Thikaria and Sanjharia villages) of Rajasthan to provide them support for pursuing higher education. Through this scholarship program, the university aims to promote education among the students of the local region. Selected students can pursue their education with the help of tuition fee waiver provided to them.

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must-
- Be a local villager from Dehmi Kalan, Thikaria or Sanjharia village
- Have passed Class 12
- Be a domicile of Rajasthan
- Be interested in pursuing any of the following courses at MUJ-
- BA
- BSc
- BCom
- BCA
- BBA
- BJMC
- BHM
- BPlan
- BDes (Fashion Design)
- BDes (Jewellery Design)
Benefits
The scholarship recipients will get the following benefits:
- Two seats reserved with 50% fee waiver
- A scholarship of INR 500 per month to candidates with 75% and above marks in their respective streams
- A relaxation of 5% in terms of eligibility percentage for the local village students
- Teaching assistantship of INR 20,000 per month for full-time PhD scholars
- Teaching assistantship of INR 5000 per month for few selected MTech students
