About The Program

Sashakt Uttarakhand CM Fellowship 2023 is an opportunity offered by the Uttarakhand Centre for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPPGG) [a department that reviews, promotes, strengthens, and leverages sustainable development by serving as a hub of knowledge management] in partnership with the Department of Planning of the Government of Uttarakhand. A total of 10 positions are available to apply in different concerned government departments. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of INR 75,000. An increment of up to 10% in the stipend will be made based on the performance of the candidates.

To be eligible, an applicant must -

  • be in the age group of 21 to 35 years
  • be a bachelor’s/master’s degree holder in Forestry, Ayurveda, Botany, or a related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks
  • be a bachelor’s/master's degree holder in Agriculture, Horticulture, Livestock Management, Veterinary Science or a related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks
  • be a B.Tech. degree holder in Civil/Mechanical/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks
  • be a master’s degree holder in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Sociology, Political Science, Public Administration or a related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks
  • be a master’s degree holder in Architecture, Urban Planning, Town Planning, Urban Governance, Geography, Regional Planning Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks
  • be a master’s degree holder in Tourism/Travel, Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks
  • be an MBA/B.Tech. degree holder in Civil/Mechanical/Structural Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 50% marks
  • be an MBA/M.Com/Master’s degree holder in Financial Management, Industrial Relations, MSW, or a related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive the following benefits -

  • A monthly stipend of INR 75,000.
  • A 10% increment in the stipend will be made based on the performance of the candidates
  • A certificate signed by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand upon completing the fellowship.

Eligible candidates can apply for the position using the steps listed below-

Terms and Conditions
  • A maximum tenure of 2 years of fellowship is provided to the selected fellows. Initially, 1 year will be provided and based on the performance of every individual, and subject to a mutual agreement between the deserving fellows.
  • The fellows will be allocated a variety of assignments by the CEO-CPPGG in consultation with the Sashakt Uttarakhand PMU.
  • All fellows will work directly under the supervision of the CEO-CPPGG/Addl. Secretary-Planning and PMU Team Leader/HoD depending on the tasks assigned to them.
  • CPPGG will have the copyright to all research papers/reports/publications prepared and/or published by the fellows. Fellows are forbidden from sharing any information or data collected/prepared on the project outside agencies without the prior approval/permission of the competent authority.
