About The Program

SAKSHAM Scholarship Examination 2022 is an opportunity for Class 10 and 12, graduation, postgraduation and diploma students. The Medhavi National Scholarship Scheme is conducting this examination under the Human Resources & Development Mission (HRDM) (an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India). The candidates will receive a scholarship amount of up to INR 12,000.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

  • be an Indian citizen
  • be within the age group 16- 40 years
  • have passed matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination from a board recognized by the Central Government or State Government
  • fulfil the following academic criteria - 
    • Type A: 60% and above marks
    • Type B: 50% or above & less than 60% marks
    • Type C: 40% or above & less than 50% marks
Benefits

A total of 1,451 candidates will be selected under the MEDHAVI Scholarship Examination 2022 purely on the basis of merit. The candidates will receive scholarships in the following way - 

  • Type A scholarship - INR 12,000
  • Type B scholarship - INR 6,000
  • Type C scholarship - INR 3,000

The candidates who score a minimum passing mark of 30% or above and do not fall under any merit list will be given INR 300 (one-time only) as a refund of the registration fee.

 

Note - 

  • The number of scholarships are subjected to merit list. 
  • The number of applications may increase or decrease (received and other factors) if the circumstances so warrant.
  • The decision of the organization will be final in this regard.
  • Scholarship money will be paid only once, as a single payment.

How can you apply?

The application can be filled online by following the below-mentioned steps - 

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button and read the details carefully.
Step 2: Download the 'Medhavi App'.
Step 3: To register through the app, go to the 'Registration' section and click on - Scholarship Exam/Test and select the name of the exam/test the applicant wants to apply.
Step 4: Fill in the registration details in the registration form. 
Step 5: Make an online payment to pay the registration fee (non-refundable) and submit.
Step 6: After successful registration, a confirmation email/SMS will be sent.
Step 7: Once the status reflects the 'Success' notification, applicants can confirm that their registration is complete.

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on the merit list and fulfilment of eligibility criteria. 

The results will be prepared solely on the basis of merit. Merit list in any case will not be less than 40% of the maximum marks, no candidate will be considered for merit securing less than 40% marks.

Terms and Conditions
  • The candidates must have passed the minimum class 10th examination from a board recognized by the central government or state government. 
  • The scholarships will be awarded only on a merit basis to candidates who qualify for the prescribed exam.
  • The selection process for the scholarship will consist of an online Test of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • The Test will be conducted only on MEDHAVI national scholarship application (Android only).
  • The candidates need to pay a fee of INR 300 (refundable) for the online test.
  • The selected candidates will receive a monthly scholarship for two consecutive months.
  • Payment of the scholarship amount will be transferred to the bank account.
  • The scholarship will be activated after the declaration of the result.
  • The candidates can appear for the exam from their home or any other location as per their convenience.
