S.N. Bose Scholars Program 2019 has been announced by the Science & Engineering Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, the Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and WINStep Forward. It aims to provide an opportunity to Indian students to experience world-class research facilities in top U.S. institutions. This scholarship works toward building a long-term collaboration between India and U.S. in the R&D sector.
S.N. Bose Scholars Program 2019
DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Bachelor's or Master's degree students from India
- Students from the following disciplines: Atmospheric and Earth Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Mathematical and Computational Sciences, and Physical Sciences
Note: PhD students are NOT eligible to apply.
Benefits The internship is a 10–12-week program, tentatively scheduled to be held by mid of May to July 2019. The benefits of the scholarship include the following:
- Stipend
- Airfare- Roundtrip (to be booked by IUSSTF travel desk)
- Health Insurance
How can you apply? Application procedure to apply online-
Step 1: Visit the application portal and click on 'Apply Now'. Here is the link.
Step 2: Click on 'Start Application'.
Step 3: Sign up by filling out the required details.
Step 4: Then, log in using the registered email and password.
Step 5: Fill in all the required details.
Step 6: Attach all the necessary documents.
Step 7: Submit the application form.Note: The applicants can also download the PDF of the completed application.

- Submission Deadline: 31 October 2018

Terms and Conditions
- The applications will only be considered in the above-mentioned subject fields.
- Only those candidates who shall be completing their degree program on or after May 2020 are eligible to apply.
- This year applications are accepted through nominations/endorsements only.
- The departments from each institute have been asked to nominate two of their best students from each discipline for the program.
- There are no partner universities under the program.
- Students with a biology background should consider applying to the Khorana Program for Scholars.
