About The Program
Raman Research Institute Post Doctoral Research Associateship - QuIC Lab 2021 is for Ph.D. degree holders. The Post Doctoral Research Associateship is on a contractual basis. The candidate will be associated with the Quantum Information and Computing lab, LAMP Group of the Institute. The selected candidate will receive an emolument of 1st year of INR 47,000 per month plus 24% HRA and 2nd year INR 49,000 per month plus 24% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not be more than 35 years as on the closing date for receiving the completed application forms online
- Hold a Ph.D. degree (areas relevant to the job description)
- Have submitted the thesis but are yet to complete the requirements for the award of Ph.D. (may also apply)
- Have good programming knowledge in Labview and at least one of Matlab/Mathematica
- Be motivated and have a flair for experimental work as well as programming skills
- Attain 75% or more marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying course (desirable)
Benefits
The selected candidate will receive an emolument of 1st year of INR 47,000 per month plus 24% HRA and 2nd year INR 49,000 per month plus 24% HRA.
Note: Those who have submitted the thesis, but are yet to complete the requirements for the award of Ph.D. will be paid INR 38,000 plus 24% HRA p.m.
