Rajiv Gandhi Manav Seva Award 2017 invites application for the individuals working for child welfare for over 10 years. This award is launched by the department of Women & Child Development, Government of India to give nation’s recognition to voluntary action in the field of child welfare. This award of the cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a citation is to honour an individual who makes an outstanding contribution towards to service to children including the care of children with disabilities.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility Individuals working for Child welfare for over 10 years are eligible to apply.
How can you apply? The applications invited from the eligible applicants from the state through publicity by giving press note in the newspaper and through Deputy Commissioners. The application is selected through a State Level Screening Committee for making a recommendation to Government of India.

The award will be announced on the birthday of Late Sh. Rajiv Gandhi on 20th August, every year.
