About The Program
Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education, the Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to the students studying at the graduate and postgraduate level. The scholarship aims to provide financial support to students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category of Maharashtra. The selected students will receive up to 100% tuition fees and exam fees.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- be pursuing a professional or non-professional course approved by the Director of Higher Education (DHE) at a government or government-aided university/college
- have taken admission under the General or Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) category
- have an annual family income of up to ₹ 8,00,000
The following applicants are ineligible to apply for this scheme:
- Students who are availing benefits of any scholarship or stipend.
- Students who have taken admission in distance learning, virtual learning, and part-time courses.
Note:-
- Applicants belonging to Maharashtra and Karnataka state border can apply for the scheme.
- The courses approved by the government/university/AICTE, PCI/COA/MCI/NCTE/ etc. are eligible under this scheme.

- Domicile certificate issued by an authorised official
- Annual income certificate of the previous year issued by an authorized official
- Centralized Admission Process (CAP) related document (applicable for B.Ed., Law, M.P.Ed, B.P.Ed students)
- Gap-related document (in case of gap)
- Family declaration certificate about two children
- Attendance certificate
- Marksheet of the previous year
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' tab.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, and verify the email and phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to 'Register'.
Step 7: Now, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents, and submit.

Terms and Conditions
- The students who have already received this scholarship in the previous year can apply for its renewal.
- The students should not have a gap of 2 years during the course.
- The applicant must have attempted all the annual or semester exams.
- The first two children of a family can apply for this scholarship.
