About The Program

Post-Matric Scholarship for ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC Communities 2023-24, Odisha is being offered by ST & SC Development and Minorities & Other Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Odisha for SC, ST, OBC, EBC, and SEBC community students studying at the post-matriculation level. The selected scholars will receive financial assistance.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a permanent resident of Odisha
  • belong to the ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC category
  • be studying at the post-matric level 
  • have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the previous examination (For EBC/OBC/SEBC category student)
  • have an annual family income of less than ₹2,50,000

Note:- Applicants studying both within and outside Odisha are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

The selected candidates will receive financial assistance to continue higher studies.

  • Divyang certificate (if applicable)
  • Front page of passbook for bank account details of the student
  • Matriculation certificate (except in case of non-matriculate ITI courses)
  • Previous examination qualifying certificate
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:-

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to register. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Registration' button at the top of the dashboard. (Note: Applicants who are already registered can log in using valid credentials.)
Step 4: Read the given information and tick the checkbox and continue to continue.
Step 5: Enter the Aadhaar number and click on the 'verify' button.
Step 6: Further, read the instructions carefully, fill in the required details, and click on the 'Register' button at the bottom of the page.
Step 7: After successful registration, fill all the required details (like details of student, academic, eligibility, and bank) and upload the necessary documents.
Step 8: Click on the 'Save as draft' button to save & preview the application or click on the 'Next' button to save and submit the scholarship form.

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

  • Applicants are required to fill in the bank details very carefully.
  • Institution-wise applications will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis for early disbursement of the scholarship.
  • Students are required to provide accurate information regarding their annual income, as providing incorrect details may result in disqualification from receiving the scholarship.
