- The tenure of scholarship is subject to good conduct and satisfactory progress in studies including promotion from class to class every year.
- Students must keep their given Bank Account active for a smooth transaction.
- Invalid information in related to Bank Account & IFSC code shall be summarily rejected.
- The application form shall be made available in the respective schools from 3rd week of April ‘2018 through District Education Officer.
- Submission of any proposal after the time schedule shall be summarily rejected.

About The Program
Pre-matric Scholarship, Nagaland 2018 invites applications from Schedule Tribe students studying in Class 9 and 10 (both government or private schools). The scholarship aims to financially support the education of economically weaker ST students by offering an annual stipend of INR 2,000.
EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed
- The student should belong to Schedule Tribe community.
- The student should not be getting any other centrally funded Pre-Matric Scholarship.
- An applicant must be a regular student studying in Govt/ Private Schools in Nagaland, recognized by the govt.
- The annual income of student’s parent/guardian should not be more than INR 2 Lacs.
Benefits
The eligible students will get an annual scholarship of INR 2,000.
Documents
- One copy of Passport size photograph with the signature of the student.
- A photocopy of Schedule Tribe 4 certificate duly signed by an authorized officer, not below the rank of SDO(C).
- A certificate of self-declaration of family income under Pre-Matric Scholarship for Schedule Tribe students studying in Class 9 and 10 should be enclosed.
- Photocopy of the first page of student’s Bank Passbook.
- In case of parents account, students should enclose their Birth Certificate along with the photocopy of their parents Bank Passbook.
How can you apply?
Step 1: Collect the application form from your respective school.
Step 2: Fill the required details and attach the required documents.
Step 3: Submit the filled form and attached documents to the head of your institution.
Please Note: The filled forms and attached documents are required to be submitted to the District Education Officer by the head of institutions before 30th June 2018.
