About The Program
Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Manipur 2021-22 is an initiative for students of Manipur belonging to the SC category and studying in classes 9 and 10. The key objective of the scholarship is to support the education of such students thereby minimizing the incidence of drop-out in the transition from elementary to secondary education.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Belong to Scheduled Caste
- Be studying in class 9 and 10
- Be a domicile of Manipur
- Have an annual family income of less than INR 2.5 lakh
Benefits
The selected students will receive -
- Scholarship of INR 150 per month to the day scholars and INR 350 per month to hostellers for 10 months.
- Books and Adhoc grant of INR 750 per annum and INR 1,000 per annum.
- Additional allowances of up to INR 240 will be given to disabled students.

Note: Scanned self-attested photocopies will also be considered.
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking, and 'Continue'.
Step 3: Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Post Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
Step 4: Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
Step 5: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 6: The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
Step 7: Now, log in using OTP and fill the form.
Step 8: An application ID and password will be generated. Use that for future references.
Note: All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.

- A student having a study break of more than 3 (three) years is not eligible for the scholarship.
- A student having a study break of less than 3 (Three) years has to provide a certificate stating the reason for the break.
- A student pursuing Ph.D. has to provide a non-stipend certificate from their respective institute/University.
