About The Program
Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC, ST and MBC Students (Component-II), Odisha 2024-25 is an initiative by the ST&SC and MBC Welfare Department, Government of Odisha to students studying in Class 1 to 10. The aim of this scholarship is to promote literacy and uninterrupted education at the pre-matric level and reduce the number of dropouts. Selected candidates will receive annual scholarships according to course duration.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile of Odisha
- belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) or Economically Backward Classes (EBC)
- be pursuing studies in Classes 1 or 10
- be a ward of the parents engaged in an unclean occupation
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive annual scholarships according to their respective courses and duration.

- Aadhaar Card of student
- Copy of passbook of Bank account with account number and IFSC code of the bank branch
- Passport size Photograph of student
- Divyang Certificarte in case of differently able students
- Marksheet of last exam passed

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship using the steps listed below:-
Step 1: Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register' (Note:- If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to 'Login' at the top of the page and click it, then click 'Student Login'.
Step 4: Click 'Register Here', tick the checkbox, and click 'Proceed'.
Step 5: Enter the required details to register.
Step 6: After successful registration, log in with valid credentials.
Step 7: Navigate to the 'Pre Matric Component-II' tab and click 'Apply Now'.
Step 8: Provide the necessary information, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.
