About The Program
The Post-Matric Scholarship, West Bengal 2025-26, is offered by the Government of West Bengal under the West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) for the welfare of the minority students. It is intended to help students from economically weaker minority families to continue their education from Class XI all the way through to doctoral studies, reducing financial barriers at each stage. Selected students will receive an award of up to ₹16,500.

To be considered, an applicant must:
- be a permanent resident (domicile) of West Bengal.
- have an annual household income not more than ₹2,00,000.
- have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the most recently completed examination

Selected students will receive an award of up to ₹16,500.

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:

Note: The applicant is required to take a printout of the application and submit the same, duly signed by him/her, to the respective institution with a copy of the Bank Passbook.
