About The Program
Post-Matric Scholarship to OBC Students, West Bengal 2023-24 is an initiative by the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal for students of Class 11 to postgraduate level. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to OBC students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary stages to enable them to complete their education. The selected candidates will receive a maintenance allowance of INR 750.

To be eligible for the scholarship, a candidate must-
- be a citizen of West Bengal
- belong to the OBC category
- be a student of Class 11/12/graduation/postgraduation
- belong to a family whose income is not more than INR 1 lakh per annum
