About The Program

The Government of India invites applications for Post Matric Scholarship to OBC Students of Maharashtra State to encourage them to undergo Post-Matric Courses.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -

  • belong to the family where annual income is less than INR 1.00 Lakh
  • belong to OBC category and all the children from the same parents can apply.
  • not be getting any other scholarship/stipend.

Note:

  1. The candidates working as a full-time employment are not eligible.
  2. One candidate can get a scholarship for one class once only if he/she fails in any class will not get the scholarship to pass that class, the scholarship will continue for the further class once they complete the repeated class.
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply online and then manually for the scholarship by following these steps -

Step 1: Click here to apply.
Step 2: Fill the Scholarship application form and upload the documents.
Step 3: Submit the form to concerned college.
Step 4: College will check for the form and forward the selected applications to concerned Asstt. Comm. Social Welfare for sanction.
Step 5: For the first year only, the online application is to be filled. From next year till completion the application is renewed by the concerned college itself. The college will forward the application to concerned Asstt. Comm. Social Welfare for sanction of the scholarship.​

Terms and Conditions

Purpose Award

  • Hosteller: Eligible OBC students will be paid maintenance allowance of INR 90 to INR 190 p.m
  • Day scholar: Eligible OBC students will be paid maintenance allowance of INR 150 to INR 425 p.m.

In addition, all compulsory fees will also be reimbursed.
