Post Matric Scholarship for Welfare of Backward Classes 2018 invites applications from undergraduate and postgraduate students of Haryana. The scheme aims to improve the level of literacy and education of the students belonging to Backward Classes.
Post Matric Scholarship for Welfare of Backward Classes 2018
DeadlineClosed Eligibility An applicant must -
- be a domicile of Haryana and should belong to the Backward Classes
- have annual family income below INR 1 Lac
- Only two children of the same parents/guardian can receive this scholarship which will not be applicable in case of the girl.
Benefits The selected scholar will receive the following benefits:
- Day Scholars: Undergraduate- INR 210 per month for 10 months for the fresh candidate and 12 months for the renewal
- postgraduate- INR 335 per month for 10 months for the fresh candidate and 12 months for the renewal.
- Hosteller: undergraduate- INR 400 per month for 10 months for the fresh the candidate and 12 months for the renewal
- postgraduate- INR 510 per month for 10 months for the fresh candidate and 12 months for renewal
Documents The following documents must be attached with the application form:
- One passport size photograph with signature
- One attested copy of all the passed examination
- A Caste certificate in original by an authorized Revenue Officer (Rank of Tehsildar)
- An income proof declared by the parents/guardians
- A receipt of the scholarship if awarded in the previous year also
How can you apply? The eligible candidates can apply through the following process -Step 1: Get the application form from the department.Step 2: Fill in all necessary details.Step 3: Attach required documents.Step 4: Submit the duly filled application form along with documents to the Head of concerned institution.
