About The Program

Post Matric Scholarship for ST Girl Students, Gujarat 2018 invites applications from ST girl students studying in class 11 to postgraduation. The key objective of the scholarship is to ensure economic welfare and empowerment of students belonging to backward classes of the society. 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

An applicant must -

  • Be an ST girl student.
  • Be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
  • Have family income less than INR 2,50,000 per anum. 
  • Be pursuing a regular course from a recognized school, college, institute or university.
  • Not be in receipt of any other central or state government scholarship. 
Benefits

Post Matric Scholarship for ST girls student, Gujarat 2018 provides variable financial assistance.

Documents
  • Self-attested caste certificate issued by the competent authorities
  • Self-attested copy of the Aadhaar Card
  • The first page of bank passbook/cancelled cheque
  • Fee receipt of current academic course
  • Self-attested certificate of previous academic mark sheet
  • Break affidavit (If break gap is more than one year)
  • Hostel certificate (only for hosteller student)
  • Income certificate issued by a competent authority (Form no.16 required for Govt. Employee)
  • Disability certificate (for the disabled persons)
  • Thesis typing/printing bill (applicable for D.Pharm, D.Litt, PhD, M.Phil and D.Sc students) 
  • LWP (Leave Without Pay) certificate (for employed students)
  • Freeship card
  • Domicile certificate (for Gujarat origin ST students studying in outstate)
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through following steps -
Step 1: Click here to apply for the scheme. 
Step 2: Click on "Apply Online" button. 
Step 3: Click on "Click for New Registration" button. 
Step 4: Fill in all required details and register. 
Step 5: Once registered, log in using registered email id and password. 
Step 6: Fill in the scholarship application form and upload required documents. 
Step 7: Finally submit the application form. 
More Details
Terms and Conditions
  • The students who are pursuing their studies through correspondence are also eligible for the scholarship. 
  • All children of same parents/guardian are entitled to receive benefits under this scholarship scheme. 
  • The students who are employed can also apply for the scholarship only if they take leave without pay for the entire duration of the course and study as full-time students. 
  • Students pursuing the same stage of education in a different subject are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Students pursuing a postgraduate program in medicine are also eligible to apply for the scholarship only if they are not allowed to carry out professional practice during the duration of their course.
