About The Program
Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students 2022 is an initiative by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India for SC students of Class 11 and above. The key objective of the scholarship is to provide/supplement financial assistance to SC students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary states to enable them to complete their education. The selected students will receive variable awards.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must-
- Be an Indian national
- Belong to the Scheduled Caste category as determined by the state/union territory (UT)
- Be studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary level i.e. Class 11 to Ph.D. level
- Have passed matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination of a recognised University or Board of Secondary Education
- Have an annual family income of less than INR 2.5 lakhs

The selected students will receive the following benefits -
- Maintenance allowance
- Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees

- Additional allowances for SC students with disabilities for the complete duration of the course
Documents
- Domicile certificate
- A passport size photograph
- Scheduled Caste certificate duly signed by an authorised Revenue Officer
- Income declaration, a certificate from the parents/guardians
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking, and 'Continue'.
Step 3: Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Post Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
Step 4: Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
Step 5: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 6: The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
Step 7: Now, log in using OTP and fill the form.
Step 8: An application ID and password will be generated. Use that for future references.
Note -
- All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted.
- The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.

- The scholarship will be provided for studies in India only.
- The ceiling on age limit for admission as regular students in different classes should be decided by concerned institutions.
- The students pursuing postgraduate courses in medicine will be eligible if they are not allowed to practice during the period of their course.
- All children of the same parents/guardians will be entitled to receive the benefits of the scheme.
- The candidates belonging to one state but studying in another state will be awarded scholarships by the state to which they belong and will submit their applications to the competent authority in that state.
