Post Doctoral Research Fellowship, IIM Calcutta 2018

• Applicants holding Ph.D. Degree can apply within five years of completion of their PhD. The thesis should be in the relevant disciplines.
• Applicants must have a consistently good academic record and demonstrated research potential.
• The age limit is a maximum of 35 years (this limit may be relaxed by 5 years for women and reserved category applicants).

• Each fellowship will carry a stipend of INR 40,000 per month consolidated, depending on the level of prior experience of the chosen candidate. 
• In addition, a contingency grant of INR 50,000 per annum will also be provided. 
• The duration of the fellowship will be for a period of 2 years, with the continuation of fellowship in the 2nd year subject to satisfactory performance in the first year. 

Documents to be required:

• A two-page write‐up on the intended Research work at IIMC.
• At least two letters of recommendation/reference from peers regarding the research capabilities and other attributes.
• No objection certificate/relief certificate from the present employer (if currently employed).
• Photocopies of the Degree certificates.
• Photocopies of two best journal papers.
• Specify Sub Caste and attach at least copy of a certificate issued by the appropriate authority.
