About The Program
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh invites applications for PGIMER Chandigarh Department of Experimental Medicine and Biotechnology Senior Research Fellowship 2021 from postgraduate degree holders. The post of fellowship is a temporary/ad-hoc post for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project entitled, "Development of a Minimally invasive-Multi-target Diagnostic Platform (Min-MultiDx) for extrapulmonary tuberculosis using a circulating cell-free DNA-based approach." The selected candidate will receive remuneration as per ICMR rules.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not exceed 35 years of age
- Hold a Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences with 2 years of research experience
Candidates with experience in handling M. tuberculosis, BSL-3 work, EI-ISA. Western blotting, real-time PCR, gene and protein expression. transcriptomics and proteomics will be preferred.
