About the Program

Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) invites school, university students & general public to participate in the Poem/Song Contest 2018. The contest aims to promote awareness regarding less consumption of fuel to save the environment through the shared Song/Poem along with offering multiple awards to the best compositions.

  • Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) Poem/Song Contest 2018 DeadlineClosed

    The contest will be conducted in three categories mentioned below:

    • School Students affiliated to any recognized board in India.
    • College/University students
    • General Public

    First Prize winner in each category will get a Branded Tab or mobile handset of approximately INR 20,000.

    Second Prize winner in each category will receive a gift voucher worth INR 10,000.

    Third Prize winner in each category will receive a gift voucher worth INR 5,000.

    5 Runner-ups will get a consolation prize in the form of gift voucher worth INR 3,000.


    College or School students are required to upload their valid ID cards along with entries.

    Step 2: Register/login on the portal to continue.
    Step 3: Click on “Do this task now” button to activate your entry.
    Step 4: Select ‘Submit your task’ under ‘All Comments’ section and upload your Song/Poem.

Selection Criteria

The entries will be judged on the basis of the quality of content by the Jury/Expert committee appointed by the PCRA.

Terms and Conditions
  • The poem/song should have minimum 12 & maximum 20 lines.
  • The Poem/Song should not contain any offensive or inappropriate language or political overtones.
  • Each participant can only submit a maximum one entry.
  • Students studying in schools that are recognized by Central & State Boards in India can only participate.
  • The Employees of PCRA are ineligible to participate in the completion.
