About The Program
PAU Ludhiana School of Agricultural Biotechnology (SAB) Senior Research Fellowship 2021 is an initiative for B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree holders. One of the selected fellows will be working on a project entitled - “Molecular breeding for improvement of tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, yield and quality traits in crops-Rice” ICAR-82 (PC-2330) while the other will be working on the project entitled - “Incentivizing Research in Agriculture Project-IV-Molecular genetic analysis of resistance/tolerance to different stress (Rice).” ICAR-83 (PC-2331). The candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a B.Sc.degree (Four Years) with a minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks
- Hold an M.Sc. degree in/Biotechnology/Genetics/ Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Plant Breeding, Genetics & Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany with at least 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks
Note -
- The candidates who do not possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at the Master’s level will be eligible for the post.
- Applicants having postgraduate degrees in the subject mentioned above, but having Bachelor's degree with three years must have passed the NET by ARS, DBT, CSIT/UGC NET, or GATE.
Benefits
The candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.
