About The Program
PAU Ludhiana Department of Soil Science (DSC) Research Associateship 2021 is a fellowship opportunity offered to B.Sc. & M.Sc & Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a scheme entitled - "Reducing Nitrogen Impacts in Northern India Cropping Systems: Realizing Production and Environmental Benefits, Misc. (FC-8) (PC-5542)". The selected fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 54,000 per month plus 16% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a B.Sc./B.Sc. degree in Agriculture with a minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks
- Hold an M.Sc. degree in Soil Science/Agronomy/Chemistry/Life Sciences with a minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Soil Science/Agronomy/Chemistry/Life Sciences with a minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks
- Have three years of experience as a Research Associate/Research Fellow/Junior Research Fellow and one research paper in a science citation index/NAAS rated (>4.0) journal
Note The candidate who does not possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level will be eligible for the post.
