About The Program
Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by the School & Mass Education Department, Odisha for students who are studying in Class 11 and 12. The objective of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students who have proficiency in mathematics and are studying in Odia medium-recognised institutions of the state. Selected meritorious students will be awarded an annual scholarship of ₹5,000.

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile in Odisha
- belong to the General/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Other Backward Classes (OBC)/Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) category of the state
- be studying in Class 11 or 12 in an Odia medium Higher Secondary School affiliated with the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha (CHSE)
Note:- Selected students can avail benefits of more than one scholarship at a time, including the Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship (PSMTS).
Benefits
Selected meritorious students will receive a scholarship of ₹5,000 per annum.
Note:- Students who have been previously awarded the Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship (PSMTS) can renew it for the following academic year if they meet the criteria for successful promotion to Class 12.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship using the steps listed below:-

Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note: If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
Step 3: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 4: Click on the 'Registration' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note: If already registered, log in using the Unique Number/ Aadhaar Number and password).
Step 5: Navigate to the respective scholarship scheme i.e. 'Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship'.
Step 6: Provide all the necessary details and documents and submit the application form.

Terms and Conditions
- In the case of a tie in the selection criteria, the candidate's position will be determined by the marks secured in the Mathematics subject in the HSC examination.
- The renewal process of the scholarship is authenticated online by the concerned Higher Secondary school or institution.
- There are no specific parental income criteria for the PSMTS. Students from all financial backgrounds can apply.
- Students may hold more than one scholarship simultaneously during their participation in the Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship.
