About The Program
Parul University Admission Scholarship 2021-22 is a financial opportunity offered to students who have proved their mettle in cultural activities and are desirous of joining PU for pursuing their higher studies. These scholarships are specifically designed to suit the personal needs of every student, allowing them to explore passion and while at the time pursing their academics. The selected student will receive up to 100% tuition fee waiver.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Fulfill all the academic requirements of the course applied for in the University
Cultural/Sports Scholarship -
- Have represented their school/college up to the Class 12 in Cultural/Literary Activities at the State/National/International Level Competitions
- Have won prizes (I, II, or III only), can be admietted to the degree programs of their choice up to 10% over and above the intake capacity under the quota for excelling in co-curricular activities
Defence Scholarship -
- Be retired defense personnel or nominated through study leave
- Have a defence force background
Benefits
The selected candidate will receive the following scholarships -
- Cultural/Sports Scholarship -
The University will offer scholarships in the form of tuition fee waiver to the students who participate and win awards (first prize, second prize, gold medal, silver medal, etc.) at different levels as follows -
- District Level - 25% of the tuition fees
- State Level - 50% of the tuition fees
- Zonal Level -75% of the tuition fees
- National/International Level - 100% of the Tuition fees
Defence Scholarship -
- Category A - Recipients of Gallantry awards- (Paramvir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Kirti Chakra, Veer Chakra, Shaurya Chakra, and Sena Medal/NauSena Medal/Vayu Sena Medal) - 40% tuition fee waiver
- Category B - Serving Officers nominated through study leave or retired defence personnel - 30% tuition fee waiver
- Category C - Dependents of defence personnel killed in action/peace time with death attributable to military service - 50% tuition fee waiver
- Category D - All the dependents of Recipients of Gallantry awards- (Paramvir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Kirtii Chakra, Veer Chakra, Shaurya Chakra, and Sena Medal/NauSena Medal/Vayu Sena Medal) - 40% tuition fee waiver
- Category E - Dependent of Serving personnel/retired personnel (from all defence forces mentioned above) - 30% tuition fee waiver

- Recommendation Letter and 1 minute What’s App Videos by the Mentoring Institute or Academy or Private Tutor or Gurus
- Documentary proofs showcasing awards, certificates won by students or participation of students in activities/events
- Minimum 2 references of individuals who are associated with the applicant in the same co-curricular activity

- In case, an applicant is eligible for a scholarship as stated above as well as other scholarship/financial aid/monetary benefit schemes or policies of Parul University then the candidate has to opt for only one scheme of their choice.
- Scholarship as stated above is offered at the time of admissions only and the applicant has to apply for the same at the time of filling Application for Admissions or before the date prescribed by the University.
- The students will receive complete support from PU in accelerating their goals. Furthermore, the students will be encouraged and groomed by the best mentors for the state and national level competitions.
- These scholarships will be applicable for Bachelor's and Master's courses offered under the faculties of Engineering, Hotel Management, Architecture, Management, IT & Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Social Work, Law, Fine Arts, Library Science, Commerce, Design, and Arts.
- Scholarship as stated above is subject to verification and authentication of the information, certificates, and documents as required by the University.
