Paramahansa Yogananda Scholarship 2019 invites applications from 1st and 2nd-year professional course students at BIT, Mesra. The candidates will have to appear for a competitive examination conducted at Yogoda Satsang Society at Ranchi. The selected candidate will receive a scholarship worth INR 125,000 in four instalments.

Benefits - The selected candidate will receive a scholarship worth INR 125000 given in four instalments.
- The students will be provided INR 30,000 immediately after selection and the remaining amount of the scholarship will be given in the next 3 years.

Important Dates
- Last date of application submission: 15.03.2019
- Date of Exam: 17.03.2019
Selection Criteria
- The aspiring students will be selected on the basis of the competitive exam which will cover 15 questions which should be answered in 600 words.
- A question bank comprising 15 questions will be given with exam brochure.
- Only 5 questions will be asked in the examination.
- The examination will be held on 17th March 2019 at the Yogoda Satsang Kanya Vidyalaya, Ranchi.

Terms and Conditions
- Several copies of the book- "Autobiography of a Yogi" will be given to the institution with the examination details.
- These copies can be obtained from the Ashram on any working day between 9 am and 4.30 pm and between 11 am and 12.30 pm on Sundays.
- The successful candidate will receive INR 30,000 immediately as soon as the results of the exam are declared.
- The rest of the scholarship will be given in next 3 years considering the performance and behaviour of the selected fellows in the institution judged by the principle of the college.
- Yoganandaji was the leading spiritual light of the 20th century and his book was internationally acclaimed.
- The book is currently used as a reference textbook in more than 100 universities across India and abroad.
