Candidates will be evaluated based on the following three broad dimensions:
- Soft skills include presentation skills, clarity of thought and presentation, demeanour, and confidence.
- Hard skills include unique proposition in the field of study, impact on society in general, likely impact on India, consistent academic performance and extra-curricular activities.
- Financial means: Candidates may be requested to provide details of their financial resources with supporting documents. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of this requirement. (Note:- Financial need is not the primary criterion, it will only be considered during the scholarship selection process.)
Those invited to interview for the scholarships will be expected to demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. Typically, this includes being ranked by Cambridge or Oxford departments as among the most academically outstanding applicants in a given year.
