- The student visa is arranged in the embassy (consular department) or consulate of Russia in the applicant's country.
- Only graduate and undergraduate programmes in nuclear research and engineering are available at leading universities in Russia.
- The scholarship will apply to the following courses:
- Nuclear Power Engineering and Thermal Physics
- Nuclear Reactors and Materials
- Nuclear Power Plants: Design, Operation and Engineering
- Master’s Degree programmes in Nuclear Physics and Engineering
- Nuclear Power Engineering and Thermo Physics
- Postgraduate Degree in Nuclear Power Engineering and Technologies

A supplementary guide to the application process is available at Rosatom regional Facebook page. The deadline for the first round of applications closes on 15 February 2019.
- Several study options are available at Russian universities specializing in nuclear engineering such as the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI in Moscow and Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) in Siberia.
- The university will prepare the invitation and will send the applicant a copy via email.
- If the applicant received a scholarship, the invitation will be prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. The applicant will be able to check his/her invitation status by clicking here.
- At most universities education is in Russian. If the applicant isn't confident in the level of Russian, sign in the preparatory department. For this purpose, be sure to note the 27th point in the application.
