About The Program
NSP Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students 2023-24 is an initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India for SC students who are pursuing or have been admitted to undergraduate or postgraduate studies in any discipline. The scheme aims to recognise and promote quality education beyond class 12 among Scheduled Caste (SC) students. A total of 1,700 fresh scholarships will be disbursed every year. The selected candidates will receive a full tuition fee waiver and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category
- have passed Class 12 examination with a minimum of 60% marks
- have secured admission to a recognised college or university in India to pursue a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- have an annual income of less than INR 8,00,000 from all sources
Benefits
A full tuition fee and non-refundable charges of INR 2,00,000 per annum per student for private sector institutions and INR 3,72,000 per annum per student for the private sector flying clubs for commercial pilot training and type rating courses.
Scholars will receive an academic allowance of INR 86,000 in the first year and INR 41,000 in every subsequent year to help cover their living expenses, such as food, rent, and transportation; the cost of books and stationery; and the purchase of a computer/laptop and other accessories.

How can you apply?
Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to 'Applicant Corner'and click on 'New Registration' tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox and click on the 'Continue' button.
Step 5: Enter mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the 'Fresh Application' tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit the application.
Note:- All the applicants are advised to fill out the form correctly; no changes can be made once it is submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill out only one application, as multiple applications will cancel the form.

- The scholarship will be sanctioned to the students of:
- All the IIMs, IITs, IIITs, AIIMS, NITs, NIFTs, NIDs, Indian Institute of Hotel Management, National Law Universities, and other Central Government Institution, OR
- Institutes included in the list of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) A++ and A+ Accredited Institutions, OR
- Top 100 national Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Institution, Or
- Institutions of National Importance as per the list issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
- 30% of scholarships are earmarked for girls students that can be transferred to male students in case of the non-availability of female students.
- The scholarship will be terminated if the student fails the final examination of each year.
- The scholarship will not be given to more than two children of a family.
